The NerdSoloMiner v2
This is a free and open source project that lets you try to reach a bitcoin block with a small piece of hardware.
The main purpose of this project is to make you learn more about mining and have a beautiful piece of hardware on your desktop.
ESP32 implements the Stratum protocol to mine on the solo pool. The pool can be modified but originally works with public-pool.io (where Nerdminers are supported).
This project was initially developed using ESP32-S3, but currently supports other cards. Use WifiManager to change miner settings and save them to SPIFF. The microMiner comes with several screens to monitor its working procedure and also to show network mining statistics. Currently includes:
- NerdMiner screen > Nerdminer Mining Data
- ClockMiner Screenshot > Fashion style clock miner
- GlobalStats screen > Global mining statistics and relevant data
This miner is multicore and multithreaded, both cores are used to mine and different threads are used to implement the work on the layers and Wi-Fi stuff. Every time a layer job notification is received, the miner updates its current job to not create obsolete shares.
IMPORTANT The Miner is not seen by all standard pools due to its low sharing difficulty. You can control the work of miners remotely using specified specific pools or by viewing logs via UART.
The current project is still under development and more features will be added
